Delectari Scientia provides tutoring and educational support in the Natural Sciences and Life Sciences. While we aim to deliver high-quality teaching, academic performance depends on many factors outside our control — attendance, individual effort, prior knowledge, study habits, and exam conditions among them. We do not guarantee specific grades, examination results, university admissions, or any other academic outcome.
Delectari Scientia is a supplementary tutoring service. It does not replace enrolment at a registered school, and does not itself issue accredited qualifications, national certificates, diplomas, or degrees (unless a specific course explicitly states otherwise). Learners remain responsible for meeting their own school's or exam board's requirements.
Live classes may run over third-party video platforms (such as Google Meet or Zoom), and payments are processed by PayFast. Delectari Scientia is not responsible for outages, bugs, or policy changes on those third-party services. Where our site links to external websites, those sites are outside our control and we aren't responsible for their content or availability.
Content on Delectari Scientia (including blog-style or FAQ content) is provided for general educational purposes and shouldn't be treated as professional, medical, psychological, or career-counselling advice. Where a learner's situation calls for that kind of support, please consult an appropriately qualified professional.
We take care to keep course content accurate and up to date, but science curricula and exam requirements can change. If you spot an error in our materials, please let us know via the Support page so we can correct it.
To the fullest extent permitted by South African law, Delectari Scientia is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from use of the platform, including loss connected to third-party service interruptions. Nothing in this disclaimer excludes liability where the law doesn't allow it to be excluded.
